Colonel Lancaster is a minor character in Paddington 2. He lives on the same street as Paddington and the Browns in Windsor Gardens. He is portrayed by Ben Miller.
Paddington refers to him as 'The Colonel'.
Biography[]
In Paddington 2, the Colonel had very dirty windows. Paddington cleans them for for free, which lets the light into the Colonel's apartment. When looking outside, he sees Miss Kitts, who runs the local newsstand, and they mime at each other from across the street.
Later in the film, the Colonel and Miss Kitts seem very close, and it is heavily implied that they are in a relationship.

At first, the Colonel seems like a very antisocial, pessimistic and sarcastic man. However, after Paddington cleans his windows, he brightens considerably. He begins to leave his apartment more and starts a friendship with Miss Kitts. He also warms to Paddington, and is in support of him despite his criminal charges.
