Feathers is a blue and yellow macaw. She is the pet of Miss Kitts and appears in Paddington 2.
She is portrayed by Casper the Macaw.[1]
History[]
Feathers is Miss Kitts' pet macaw. She is a key player in unmasking the person who framed Paddington Brown for grand theft. When Mary comes by the newsstand to drop off copies of The Portobello Express for Miss Kitts to sell, she asks Feathers whether she knows who framed Paddington. Feathers replies that the real thief is behind Mary, who turns around and finds Phoenix Buchanan beckoning her into his apartment.
Personality[]
Feathers is a shrewd, perceptive and loyal bird. She sees through Phoenix Buchanan's lies and disguises to his true nature. She tells Mary of her suspicions, showing that she is an honest bird.
However, it is unclear how long Feathers has suspected Phoenix of foul play. There is a possibility that Feathers was waiting for someone to ask her about the crime, and had known of the true culprit for much longer than she let on.
