The Home For Retired Bears is a building in the jungles of Darkest Peru in Lima, where all the retired bears go and spent the rest of their days in quiet and peace.

The Adventures of Paddington Bear (1997 TV series) showed the Home for Retired Bears in Lima where Paddington's Aunt Lucy and all the other retired bears from Darkest Peru were living.
After Paddington left Darkest Peru to find a home in London his Aunt Lucy settled in Home for Retired Bears where Paddington sends her letters and postcards telling her about his life in London, his adventures with the Brown family and his adventures around the world with Mr. Gruber.

When an earthquake hit Darkest Peru, Paddington, his Aunt Lucy, and Uncle Pastuzo headed to their shelter. Paddington and Aunt Lucy were safe, but Uncle Pastuzo did not make it. The next day Paddington found his Uncle's red hat. With their home now destroyed, Aunt Lucy and her nephew headed to the docks. Paddington stowed away in a lifeboat on a cargo ship and heads to London, England alone to find a new home. Aunt Lucy has grown too old and tired to go any further, so she has decided to move into the Home for Retired Bears after sending her nephew off. Aunt Lucy is seen in the Home for Retired Bears reading Paddington's letters about having found a home in London.
