London is the capital city of the United Kingdom. The River Thames runs through the city. It is a popular city for tourists.

In Paddington[]
The explorer Montgomery Clyde was from London, and taught English to Pastuzo and Lucy and described London to them. They had plans to go to London themselves, which were postponed when they found Paddington and raised him in Darkest Peru until the earthquake.
After the earthquake, Paddington immigrates to London and meets the Browns. He moves in with them. They introduce him to the different sights of London. The majority of the Paddington books, TV series and films are set in London.
