The Natural History Museum is a museum in London. It is an acclaimed research institution, which publishes over 700 scientific papers a year with international collaborators. It houses about 80 million specimens which span 4.5 billion years, from the formation of the solar system to the present day.
More than 300 scientists work there in earth and life sciences, research labs, library and archives.[1]
In Paddington[]
The Natural History Museum features in the first Paddington film, as it is Millicent's workplace. Millicent is a taxidermist who hopes to stuff Paddington so she can add him to her collection of specimens in the museum. Millicent has a secret room adjoining her office where she carries out her nefarious deeds.
